From Knowledge to Wisdom: A Transformative Journey

Gain wisdom by turning knowledge into action.

We are inundated with knowledge. There are countless books, courses, masterminds, cohorts, coaching, and tons of free information.

We’ve become so full of information it is almost impossible to pick a direction.

There are too many options. A million ways to solve a problem.

One creator says to use this method, while another says the opposite. It’s maddening.

Many times we have enough information to act on.

One tool. One idea. One action.

But it’s comfortable to stay in analysis paralysis.

While killing your progress.

For a long time, I knew 𝕏 provided a great way to build a social media strategy.

I’d hear people I respected talking about testing on 𝕏 and to find what works. Creating an optimized data feedback loop that supercharged their content.

But what did I do?

I’d jump on the next course. Or test the next idea.

Started web design. Then Facebook ads. Next e-commerce.

While jumping from knowledge to knowledge.

I’d take action, but not wholeheartedly.

Finally, in September 2023 I took the plunge to seriously building on 𝕏.

Since then, I’ve…

  • Gone from 0 to 960 followers

  • Added great connections

  • Refined my content

  • Jumped on calls

I gained wisdom by turning knowledge into action.

The action on the knowledge I knew opened doors I didn’t think possible.

It’s also got me moving towards applying more of what I’ve learned in other areas.

It’s not what you know, but how well you execute. Hence, why people dumber and lazier than you are executing on ideas.

Sometimes we have to get out of our own way.

I know there are other areas I need to progress in. But the will is there to get to wisdom faster.

Make the move to gain wisdom faster by applying what you know.

By all means, take the courses and listen to leaders.

But we have to get from knowledge to action faster. The wisdom will teach more than any book or course.

Thanks for reading,
Don
