New Post

It's the most wonderful time of the year, yet it can also feel the most overwhelming.

Everyone needs something. Work plans functions, family has events all over the place, and there are countless other activities demanding attention.

Staying consistent with our goals can easily get swept under the rug.

This has been the case for me. I haven't been engaging as much as I'd like.

However, I've decided to let some things go.

If I hold on too tightly to my commitments, I'm sure to drop something, often things of value.

It's a time when I intend to be present. To me, it's the best present I can give to my family and friends.

If it means engaging less on 𝕏, then it's a sacrifice for the greater good.

I'm not going anywhere. That is the key to staying consistent: adjusting our commitments.

Find your core goals and remain consistent. For me, that consists of:

  • 4 posts a day

  • Engaging when possible

  • Writing this newsletter

  • Connecting via DMs

When things get busy, I will hit those goals and stop.

Honestly, I'd rather introduce my 7-year-old to "Home Alone" than send 100 comments.

That's where I am at, and it's okay. The hustle will be there, but these family moments are once in a lifetime.

Stay consistent, but keep the main thing in focus.

Thanks for reading,

Don

P.S. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal.
